Head Breathers
Introducing our new T-Man Custom M8 Head Breathers. These breathers are the third component of our new M8 breathing system. It was developed to help ensure a positive seal on the head breathers, while also providing twice the volume area than the stock breather that comes with your Harley-Davidson. It also has a double o-ring seal to prevent leakage between the head and the breather porthole. We have seen this product help with blow-by on motors when installed, although it is not a solution for oil blow-by issues. This system will enhance your higher compression or big bore motors. Vented Dipstick
The M8 motors are notorious for their oil pan pressure, which leads to blow-by issues, and the T-Man Vented Dipstick is an effective solution to these problems. The T-Man Vented Dipstick is engineered with precision and practicality in mind. Our kit releases the excess crankcase pressure in a most efficient and consistent way by utilizing a one-way check valve. This valve allows the pressure to escape from the oil pan, then closes to ensure proper oil scavenging of the oil system, whether your motor is stock or you have a bigger cubic inch setup. This innovative dipstick, featuring a cross drilled entry and meticulously crafted air flow channels, efficiently alleviates the buildup of pressure, allowing for a smoother operation and reducing chances of blow-by. Additionally, this kit features a quick disconnect, allowing for effortless removal of the hose, as well as indicator lines on the stick for when it’s time to check your oil levels, making routine maintenance quicker and more convenient. External Breathers
This service is a go-to on all of our Twin Cam and Milwaukee 8 builds. When installing external breathers in your heads, you eliminate the chance of any oil being blown into your intake track, reducing fuel contamination and the chance for detonation. When installing these kits in-house, we prefer to run the breather hoses right back to the oil tank (see picture for location on both Twin Cam and M8). This makes for a maintenance-free system; routing your breather to the oil tank will require the use of our Oil Pan Vent Kit or Vented Dipstick. You can also run the breathers to an external filter or a catch can. We can machine the breathers during our CNC machine process. We recommend all M8 external breathers be installed on our CNC machine because of the angle they need to be drilled.

External Breather Spacer Kit
The T-Man External Breather Spacer Kit is a must-have add-on for our T-Man No Loss Air Cleaners. Whether you are running this kit back to the oil pan (see our Transmission Top Cover), catch can or out to the atmosphere, this system will eliminate any oil mist going into your intake. These kits are made of billet aluminum and are available in black or raw for both M8 and Twin Cam.

Catch Can
The T-Man Oil Mist Catch Can is the newest product in our Breather System and is made for models ’14 and up. This will work with any breather kit you may have, not just our Oil Pan Vent Kit or External Breathers. With this system, the vent off of the oil tank goes through the hosing to the can, then has to travel through the channels inside, breaking up any oil mist before it gets to the filter at the end of your breather system. This bolts onto the existing rear strut on the chassis of your motorcycle. Please see our instructional video for help with installation. These are available in raw aluminum and anodized black.

Softail Catch Can
Introducing the new T-Man Softail Catch Can! This system brings you the same level of effectiveness and efficiency as our T-Man Oil Mist Catch Can, specifically designed for Softail motors. This piece bolts on the back of the transmission housing and can be connected to your vent kit or external breather kit. The system forces the vented pressure from your kit to flow through the internal channels, which effectively break up any oil mist before it reaches the filter at the end of the breather system. Whether you are a seasoned rider or new to your Softail, the T-Man Softail Catch Can is an excellent addition to ensure your motor breathes efficiently.

Oil Pan Vent Kit
The T-Man Oil Pan Vent Kit is the first step to our breather system. This comes off of the dipstick and can be routed to the back of the chassis or to a catch can. External Breather Transmission Top Cover
The T-Man Transmission Top Cover has multiple applications and is a great way to help your M8 motor breathe more efficiently. Primarily, we route the Transmission Top Cover to the cylinder heads as an external breather drain. Here at T-Man, we drill all of our M8 cylinder heads for External Breathers, which we typically run down to the oil pan. The Trans Top Cover offers an easier way to accomplish this, eliminating the need to drill and tap your oil pan for a seamless and cleaner installation.
Another option we offer is to run our External Breather Spacer Kit from behind the No Loss Air Cleaner to the Trans Top Cover. This setup enables your cylinder heads to breathe through the breather bolts to the Trans Top Cover rather than into your air cleaner. This approach prevents oil from getting into the air cleaner, helping to maintain a clearer lens and will extend the lifespan of your filter between cleanings.
This Transmission Top Cover will help your motor breathe more efficiently, but it does create a near vacuum seal and excess cranking pressure, which needs to be relieved. Therefore, with either application, you MUST vent your motor with a vent kit of some kind when running this cover. We offer an Oil Pan Vent Kit and a Vented Dipstick to accomplish this. Be sure to take a look at those when considering our Transmission Top Cover.
Lastly, this kit CAN be used as a vent for your motor. This cover can vent the oil pan to either the atmosphere with a filter or to our T-Man Oil Mist Catch Can. If you own a Softail, this kit is also compatible with our T-Man Softail Catch Can. Please look at the options carefully when ordering to be sure you select the correct application you are looking for and feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have.
